A sweet and sour savory spread made from roasted red peppers and another Wozz creation, Super Hot Chilli Sambal for spice. This spread packs a medium bite of heat.

Dressing: Use straight from the jar or add a little water, soy sauce, lemon juice, oil, and your favorite fresh herbs. Drizzle over salad and finish with sesame seeds.

Dip: Serve with grilled shrimp skewers, fried or grilled calamari, steak tips, spring rolls, and egg rolls.

Try this...

Creamy Thai Hot Pepper Shrimp

  • 1 - 2 Dozen Shrimp (peeled - can leave tails on if you like)
  • 2 - 4 Tbs Thai Hot Pepper Savory Spread (amount depends on heat you like)
  • 1 - 2 Tbs Dry White Wine (I used a Chardonnay)
  • 2 - 3 Tbs Heavy Whipping Cream

NOTE: The amount of wine and cream depends on how many shrimp you have. You want a good amount of sauce, without drowning the shrimp.  When the shrimp are lying in the sauce, the sauce shouldn't come more than half way up shrimp.

Mix sauce, wine and cream together in a medium or large frying pan (size depends on amount of shrimp). Heat mixture gently and add shrimp. Simmer until cooked, turning shrimp so they cook evenly.

Serve as an appetizer or with rice and salad as a main course. If you want to pack some extra heat, serve with extra Thai Hot Pepper Spread on the side.
